Dr. David P. Gillett, MD

Dr. David P. Gillett is a board-certified physician with more than two decades of emergency medicine experience and a strong record of emergency department leadership. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine and completed his residency training within the Texas A&M / Scott & White and UTMB systems. He maintains current ATLS, ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications.

Throughout his career, Dr. Gillett has served as Medical Director and Director of numerous emergency departments and freestanding emergency centers across Texas, including roles with Integrative Emergency Services and Envision throughout East Texas and El Paso. He has helped establish and open new emergency departments and led departmental stroke, sepsis, and trauma certification efforts. As part of Focus Physicians Group PLLC, he brings seasoned clinical judgment and operational leadership to freestanding ER care across Texas.
